The term “thoughtform” is used as early as 1927 in Evans-Wentz' translation of the Tibetan Book of the Dead. John Myrdhin Reynolds in a note to his English translation of the life story of Garab Dorje defines a tulpa as “an emanation or a manifestation.” The 14th Dalai Lama is said to be partly a tulpa of Chenrezig, the Bodhisattva of Compassion. The Dalai Lama mentioned in a public statement that his successor might appear via tulpa while the current Dalai Lama is still alive.<br /><br />As the Tibetan use of the tulpa concept is described in the book Magical Use of Thoughtforms, the student was expected to come to the understanding that the tulpa was just a hallucination. While they were told that the tulpa was a genuine deity, "The pupil who accepted this was deemed a failure – and set off to spend the rest of his life in an uncomfortable hallucination."</span>

Its the mindful manner after our letting go meditation we connect<br />and listen to our perfect child within for compassionate guidance. This practice keeps us firmly rooted on our recovery path and opens the way to the truth that the genius in our child within has been waiting a life- time to manifest. Having grieved our history we recognise that our child is no longer held captive by ancient shackles of dissociation. We are no longer blocked by an impenetrable wall of silent abuse, defences of the dissociated playground, and self-hating voices of our ancestral past. Our freed energy allows us the deepest connection to the best of ourselves which enhances our child withins power. However, we have learned not abuse our power to dominate others or to exploit the material world. If we do, we are only deluding ourselves. Our sole desire for aligning with truth and its power is to guide us to our child withins calling. </span>
